This is an abuse that goes on weekly at our parishes.

Look at the lines at confession and compare that to the lines for communion. Either the saints come in droves to church on Sunday, or there are many sacrileges taking place. The Rockin' Traddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18129936099528102840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1336117984422102655.post-91005059998969576002008-04-20T22:02:00.000-04:002008-04-20T22:02:00.000-04:00Perhaps it was a priest who did not even recognize...Perhaps it was a priest who did not even recognize these people -- I would not. And/or perhaps the priest did not want to cause a "riot" by refusing Communion? After all, the person should know their own conscience, and know what a big sin they are committing by receiving Jesus unworthily.
Now we have Mayor Juliano (sp?) doing it in NYC too. I do wonder who gave them communion. Was it some international priest who wouldn't know better, or was it some local guy that didn't want to cause a scene? The Bishops where these baby killers live should issue a directive banning them from communion until they repent and change their voting habits. The Rockin' Traddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18129936099528102840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1336117984422102655.post-61058160397962194052008-04-18T18:07:00.000-04:002008-04-18T18:07:00.000-04:00The difference here from other issues is that abor...The difference here from other issues is that abortion has come under infallibility in section 62 of Evangelium Vitae in wording denoting that the Pope polled all Bishops worldwide and was declaring in light of that that abortion is condemned. This actually in my view makes this issue unique since few moral issues have passed through a formal process to make their infallibility clear in line with Canon 749-3 which demands such clarity if an issue is to be brought into a heresy trial for example....and this issue unlike most moral issues which are less clear in the ordinary magisterium actually is infallibly settled.bill bannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09737277581167437670noreply@blogger.com
