Here and here we've been trying to release 100,000 souls from Purgatory by praying Saint Gertrude's Prayer:Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus Christ,
in union with the Masses said throughout the world today,
for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory,
for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the universal church,
for those in my own home and within my own family.
Amen.
We need 9 more prayers said before midnight to reach our goal. Let's try to surpass it!
Post your numbers in the comments.
EDIT: As of 2:30pm EST we have surpassed our goal by 11 prayers! Keep it coming if you can, let's see how far we can go!
EDIT: We surpassed our first Holy Souls In Purgatory Blog-A-Thon! 119,000 Souls removed from Purgatory per Our Savior's own words! Well done! And don't stop there, keep on praying this excellent devotion on your own and help more Holy Souls reach the Beatific Vision!
