Hey!

Someone from New Zealand is checking out the Traddy's blog. Howdy!

I just think that's pretty nifty...

Perhaps this is not the right thread to comment on for this, but would it be possible for you to make a post, or at least share your thoughts in a comment, on why you think that even in the most rural parts of the country, the church is progressive, sometimes, even in the rural parts, it is most progressive. A lot of left wing nuns are from small towns or very rural areas. Same with many left wing priests.

Why do conservative areas produce the most progressive of all? Just curious as to your thoughts. This is true even in the Scranton diocese.

Thanks.

You know, I don't really know. I wish I could give you a good answer.

My guess is that these rural towns were so far behind the times that when they heard that churches were ripping out altars and installing indoor swimming pools in the sanctuary to baptize, they couldn't control themselves.

And let's not forget that Satan plants his seeds everywhere. Maybe these people seemed less corruptible to him, and he singled them out. And now we see his fruits.

Always remember you will know them by their fruits.

Does that answer your question at all?

Thanks for coming by!
