It would seem that for some reason Malaysian Christians have begun using the word 'Allah', with the result that the Muslims are of course, outraged, and have predictably begun fire-bombing Malaysian churches.

"Islam is above all. Every citizen must respect that," said Ahmad Johari, who attended prayers at the National Mosque. "I hope the court will understand the feeling of the majority Muslims of Malaysia. We can fight to the death over this issue."
It's only a matter of time until these same things start happening in America.
When you allow people from the third world into America, you get people from the third world. Which means their attitudes and philosophies. If we placate them now, it'll only be that much easier for them later on.
I think we are in deep trouble.

What Does "Islam" Mean?
The word "Islam" itself means "Submission to Allah." The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of "Christianity" which was named after Jesus Christ, "Buddhism" after Gutama Buddha , "Marxism" after Karl Marx, and "Confucianism" after Confucius.
Similarly, Islam is not named after a tribe like "Judaism" after the tribe of Judah and "Hinduism" after the Hindus. The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission or surrender of one's will to the will of the only true god worthy of worship, "Allah" (known as God "the Father" in Christianity).
Anyone who does indeed submit to the will of Allah as required by Islam is termed a "Muslim," which means one who has submitted to the will of Allah. Many people in the West have developed the sad misinformed trend of calling Islam "Muhammadenism" and it's followers "Muhammadins." This is a totally foreign word to Muslims and unrecognized by them. No Muslim has ever called his religion "Muhammadenism" or called himself a "Muhammadin."

Yeah that's real mature of them. Funny, I thought we all had the same God, no matter what the heck you call Him. I mean, the old Testemant is part of the Koran, right? Or some? Meaning we have half the same holy book? And they believe Jesus was a prophet...Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed. Not the son of God like we do but...still important. So there's no need to get their panties all up in a bunch.
But who am I kidding. You look back in history and see the Protestants and Catholics murdering each other, and they were even both Christian.
Damn power tripping, it screws everything up. And yeah the radical n' militant Muslims are pretty scary. IF they can claim that they are killing for God, that's kind of hard to persuade against and I can see how it'd be easy to manipulate younger generations to follow right along.
And we shouldn't HAVE to worry about immigrants, but I see what you're saying. I hate it when a few jerks in the world screw things up for the ones who aren't jerks (like other third world people who would be fine). It's kind of like Ted Bundy. Dang him and people like him who make the ordinary joe like me afraid to be kind to strangers like Jesus and Christianty would say to do. He would pretend to have a broken arm or need help, and would prey on the kindness of strangers to rape and murder those who were willing to help. That's just great. Screws it up for the other innocent strangers who really do need help. But we know Jesus still would help them, even if they were potentially a Ted Bundy, don't we? lol.

That post really doesn't even make much sense. It reminds me of that limereck that went something like, once there was a house, and in that house there was a room, and in that room there was a closet, and in that closet there was a box, and in that box there was a ...ghost!...or...something. (What was up with that anyway?)
But the point is, that post was just kinda strange and if it's supposed to incense us to convert it's really not doing a good job lol. I don't believe I've heard the term Muhammaddism in my till now anyway.

Anyone who commits an act of violence in the name of a religion must be harshly criticized, but subtly attributing this bombing to "Muslims," rather than "certain Muslims," "a group of Muslims," etc. is akin to blaming all those of us who are Christians for KKK violence because the Klan claims to be "Christian."
Secondly, you seem confused as to why Christians in Malaysia would want to refer to God as Allah. The reason is that Arabic-speaking Christians throughout the world refer to God as Allah. The Arabic word derives from the ancient "al-ilah," meaning "the deity" or literally, "God." Neither the Malaysian parliament nor any Muslim or Christian can change that meaning.
We should denounce all forms of intolerance, whether it's from Muslims killing in the name of Islam or Christians who seem reluctant to love their brothers and sisters in "the Third World."

I was just listening to a radio show broadcast out of California.
Seems there's a problem with the muslims in Lancaster, Cali. They appear to be ticked off again because some lady made a comment about the incident in upstate New York, where the muslim husband felt the need to behead his muslim wife. A university professor (muslim btw) is demanding an apology from the lady because she commented about 'her' dislike for such barbaric incidents (which btw, are growing). Yeah...that's right...beheadings and honor killings are happening right here in the good ole' US of A.
Personally, I don't see anything honorable about chopping someone's head off...but then again..I'm not muslim. Anyway..the radio DJ also mentioned that the professor was trying to kind of balance the perception of islam..by ranting about how islam invented the first toothbrush, crank, algebra (lol -- guess they needed algebra to formulate the number of virgins that await their martyrs) and even performed the first C-Section.
Well...just for the sake of knowing, I hopped onto google to at least check to see if they could at least take the credit for the toothbrush . Wrongo islam...seems it was the Chinese.
While googling, I stumbled across this blog and thought I'd leave my 2 cents worth. I've been listening to muslims rant since the 9-11-01 tragedy. Nothing has changed with them..they're very hostile, to say the least. After 9-11-01 happened, I was curious as to what islam was all about. I didn't want to take anyone's word for it, so I went onto the chat prog and I listened and watched. This is only my opinion; there's nothing peaceful about islam and it isn't one of the world's top 3 'religions.' It's more of an ideology, if anything. Check that chat prog and have a listen...you'll see what I mean.
