Well mine's more of a sacrifice of time in forcing myself to do something good that normally I'm to lazy to do. I was doing good until I was bed-ridden all last week with some stomach bug lameness. But now I'm not sick ...so no excuses, gotta get back on it!

I am tempted to give up every day. I did give up for a few hours one day and regret it--so I am joyfully going to go the distance and pray that I don't slip up!

(Unrelated) and dang did you hear about that thing in Nigera? I am hesitant to bring it up to you since I don't want it to erupt in eliciting in 500,500,590 muslim-bashing posts because as well know hate begets hate. But, it's still pretty tragic and just wondered if you knew of it since you're one of the few people I know who actually seems to give a sincere crap about religion. Over 500 villagers hacked with machetes (babies included) because of, possibly, the fact they were Christian. At least so news reports said (grain of salt). But no matter what it was, that ain't right. I hate bloody-fighting over religion, it's just counter intuitive. Like the Protestants versus Catholics in other places and centuries...all that. Sucks. :/

By the grace of God, so far so good. My Lenten vow is a sacrifice of time and is also a spiritual battle against the sin of sloth. I never again want to have to confess to sloth, the word itself makes me feel like an oddity.

You know...not real well. In light of prominent Catholics in the news, I have learned of the weakness that is my so called faith. I have put my trust in them and not in God. That is not a very good Lent.
