Give of yourself in new ways this Lenten season, fast not only for the good of your own soul, but in solidarity with those who truly have nothing.Like this fellow to the left. How terrible is this picture? Pray that God have mercy on the souls of those who suffer and do not know him, and that through programs like Operation Rice Bowl, he will allow us to make a difference in the lives of these unfortunates.
You know you got the Rice Bowl in your bulletin last week. Now use it.

You could buy your kid that $50 XBox360 game, or you could use it to ease this child's suffering. Which will it be?

If an abortion was performed when this child was just a mass of cells, then it wouldn't be suffering now...
