Won't You Join In?

Catholics Defending Life Prayer Team, Scranton announces 40 Day Prayer Vigil and opening Mass

The Catholics Defending Life prayer team, Scranton will be conducting a 40 day prayer vigil at the Planned Parenthood from September 23 to November 1st. We will be praying to end abortion and for respect of human life from conception to natural death. The hours we are trying to fill are as follows: Mon., Wed., and Fri. From 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., Tues., and Thurs. From 10 A.M. to 7P.M...... Saturdays to be announced. We would appreciate any time you would be able to participate. This is a peaceful, prayerful, presence that has as it's purpose to change hearts. An opening mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23, at 7 P.M. at St. Peter's Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Ave., Scranton, Pa. Fr. Ed Buchheit, C.P. will be the celebrant. I have seen Fr Ed in action on CTV and quite frankly I am not impressed. I think the Right to Lifers could have gotten a priest with more conservative approach such as a Fr. Bergman or a Fr. Sahd. etc.

And while I agree his puppets and violin may not be very orthodox, his strong right to life stance should not be called into question.

FYI, Father Sahd is off to Rome for two years. Pray for his safe journey.

Sorry Traddy, I have no trouble signing my name. But I do have trouble setting a "google acct." So anonymous works just fine.
