By the way, I consider myself a right wing, conservative member of the Democratic Party. We can always hold out hope for a return to the old party...
I oppose Obama, and ANY pro choice Democrat, however, and supported Republicans because of their pro life views. Maybe you can convince me otherwise, Traddy!
Funny you bring this up as I'm about to write a post on switching to Independent. There are too many RINO's out there doing ridiculous things in the name of the Republican party. Of course, gerrymandering is the number one reason to not belong to either of the big two. I'll try to post it before the news conference hits on Monday. I have a feeling that's all we'll be talking about.
And, guess who's registered as Independent already? *raises hand* :P I swing-swang to the conservative side but I didn't want to pigeonhole myself in, nor get all the Republican paraphernalia. I just want what's best, not necessarily just following whatever flock a political party tells me to. does that make sense? My tendencies are conservative and I have an affinity for conservativeness and a sort of 'ew' gut reaction to liberalness. But at the end of the day, I try to look at things from different and angles and not be all black-n-white.
