I received notice today of a Tea Party taking place at the Lackawanna County Courthouse in Scranton, PA, Saturday August 15th at 1pm. The event is being organized by Old Forge School Director and tax-payer rights activist Frank Scavo.
I do not know Mr. Scavo personally, but I do know him by reputation, and I feel this would be a good time for those of us locally to get involved. Especially since Paul Kanjorski and Little Bobby Casey are afraid to hold town hall meetings and see their constituents face to face. It seems the more the people protest, the more they ignore them.
I might even advocate protests outside Kanjorski's home on Hanover street in Nanticoke and Casey's palatial villa on Webster street in Scranton if these guys stay sequestered away from the people who pay their salaries. What do you think about that?
Should the Traddy organize protests? You let me know.

You should come to our high mass for the assumption at 9 at St Michaels and then go down to the tea party. We are singing Palestrina's Missa Brevis.
Sounds like a lot of teabagg- wait. Just kidding. Not this again lol.
I'm a lame fence-sitter when it comes to any political action. But go and knock yourself out if you think it's for a good cause! Organizing a protest might be fun...just don't get too wacky with it...

Yes, it is a Solemn High Tea Party!
Will you be getting on board with the Pat Toomey campaign?

I'm not sure yet. I don't know enough about him. I won't endorse anyone until much closer to the actual election.
Do you like Pat Toomey? Why or why not?
He is the one who ran agaisnt Specter last time, and would have won had not Santorum sold out pro lifers and endorsed Specter.
Toomey is President of the Club for Growth- a fiscally conservative group dedicated to getting rid of RINOs. He also is solidly pro life.
