Why is it that white people these days seem to be in an ongoing mindset of apologizing to everyone for everything?
We apologized to blacks for slavery, we apologized to American Indians for taking their land, we apologized to the Japanese immigrants for imprisoning them after their military bombed Pearl Harbor, and now, some wacko group of protestants apologized to another group of Indians today.
I thought that maybe now that liberal white guilt put a black in the White House, that the self-flagellation of the white race would stop. But I think they are just getting warmed up.
White guilt is going to be the downfall of white people in this country. You all need to start speaking up and demanding equality in this country.
Equality you say? What do you mean?
Quotas. Reverse racism. Affirmative action.
Race is not supposed to matter the government says. Obama wants a 'color-blind' society. Yet who is it that's always asking for your race? The government.
Fill out any government form and near the top, they will always ask you what color your skin is.
And if it isn't the right one you may not get that favorable interest rate on your mortgage, or you might not get a mortgage, period.
Isn't it time we start fighting this reverse racism?
I'm not apologizing to anyone for anything. So kiss my white unapologetic ass.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure that before Obama is gone, we will apologize to the Japanese for Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Traddy, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we also pay reparations to the Japanese for Hiroshima and Nagasaki???? Funny!! I don't remember them paying us reparations for Pearl Harbor.

I hope we apologize for dropping the atomic bombs! That was immoral, and most theologians at the time were against it. As a young person, and yes, a "white" young person, I am 100% in favor of affirmative action. QUotas have been declared unconstitutional, by the way.
Just as John Paul II apologized for the church's misdeeds, so must we as a country continue to apologize and make restitution.
We were illegal immigrants and stole the Native American lands, it is just that we apologize. We put Japanese Americans in internment camps, denying them their rights, it is just that we apologize. The most decorated army unit in World War II was the Japanese American brigade, recruited from those camps.
There has been defacto white affirmative action for centuries!
