Rosary Crusade For Bishop-Elect Bambera

I pray you will all join me in congratulating Reverend Monsignor Joseph Bambera who is to be the tenth Bishop of Scranton.

I am proposing that all of my readers help him achieve the graces he needs to lead this troubled Diocese.

In the comments, leave the amount of rosaries you will say for Bishop-Elect Bambera from now until his ordination and installation on April 26.

These rosaries are greatly needed to help Bishop-Elect Bambera be the Bishop our Lord wants him to be.

So what are you waiting for? Get praying!

I make rosaries for the missions. I'll make one for each day for Msgr. Bambera until the 26th, and when I send them to the missions (I send them to India), I'll include a note requesting that the recipient prays for our Bishop whenever possible. That's about 60, and besides me praying for Msgr as I craft each one, this will also keep the prayer chain going for the strength and wisdom he'll need as a good shepherd through the years.

I was reading your posts from the past month, and you seem to be pretty harsh on Monsignor Bambera and the "anti-diocese."

Why were you so harsh on the leaders of the Diocese?

Good idea for prayer!

Confused - Did you read the post? If you did, you know why I was hard on Msgr Bambera. He's a big boy, he can take it. But in the larger scheme of things, there is more going on here than the EF. He will be our Bishop now, and we owe him our loyalty. I will do all I can to support him, just as I did his predecessor.

How many rosaries can we put you down for? Thanks for stopping by.

Yes, but I also think it might be wise to stop referring to him as a modernist. :)

I will pray every rosary this week for him, as well as offer my Mass intention for him this week.

We also make rosaries and will pray for him. We had a wonderful priest in our church and come to find out , he stole, drank and went with women and now he is in jail for 5 years...so beware, much prayer is needed for discernment. He really wasn't so wonderful now, was he?!
