A Final Solution?

My sources tell me the Mass I told you about here has been put on hold by the Diocese, while they try to find a final solution for Traditionalists.

I can't say too much now, but as soon as possible I will fill you in on the plans.

In the meantime, fast and pray for those involved in the process.

My very real concern in the administration of actions in the Diocese over the past year or so is that "prayerful consideration" by those with authority and accountability to the faithful often translates for me, at least, into "until the faithful person(s) seeking such action is/are discouraged" and go away. I will prayerfully continue to consider this, to fast appropriately as the poor sacrifice I can make for the good intents here, and to ensure that my widow's mites go into the appropriate temple's coffers as we enter 2010. Thank and bless you for all you do, Traddy. When I 'visit' here, I have hope. It's in pitifully short supply elsewhere.

I hope so. Though sometimes I do believe the final solution for this Diocese will be, after they've closed half of the parishes, would be *surprise* in 2011 - the Diocese itself will be folded into another one (Allentown? Harrisburg?) - which would free up all the priests involved in administering the DOS - for parish work. A gal can dream. And this one ... would NOT be surprised.
